for polished or chrome wheels and wheel centers for both 88 through
90 AND 91 Reatta wheels. The wheel pockets are painted black
or Reatta grey (the same as OEM wheels), chrome, or color keyed at no
extra charge. The exchange price is $795 for polished
wheels, and $1,195 for chrome wheels. |

There is a fully
refundable core charge of $75 per wheel. As always, BCA
members receive a 10% discount from the total price (less core
exchange).
What's
the difference between polished and chrome? We're glad you
asked!
The appearance is absolutely identical, however polished wheels will
require a little more care. No more automatic car washes, as
they spray caustic cleaners on the hot wheels as they enter the car
wash, and the metal horizontal rotating brushes which clean tires
can scratch the wheels too. Polished wheels should be waxed on
a regular basis to keep their brilliance. Chrome wheels can be
waxed too, helping to preserve their shine.
We will always try to stock several sets of each wheel finish, but
should we be out of stock , plan on one week for polished wheels,
and three weeks for chromed wheels.
Chrome plating aluminum alloy is a totally different process than
chrome plating steel. Most steel platers do not plate
aluminum. We send our wheels out of state for the chrome
plating process, hence the three week lead time.
When either finish wheel is installed on your Reatta, we strongly
suggest using stick-on wheel weights mounted on the inside of the
wheel for a smooth and uninterrupted appearance on the wheel
rim. In most tire shops, you will have to ask for this
specifically. |
